Will 2nd hand Office work ?

I would like to buy a second hand MS Office software (I am student, and I really haven't the money to buy it new), and I would like to know if the serial will works even if the precedent user might have used it ?

It may work, but the current owner may have already have used all the available installations, in which case you'll need to activate the product over the phone. Do note that, if it's an OEM edition, the license key is only valid for the PC with which it was originally supplied.
