Hi Art,

Try reinstalling your printer driver. You also mentioned previously that CCleaner found many font errors. It might be an idea to reinstall all your fonts.

FWIW, I try to stay away from products like CCleaner & Revo - both have been implicated in a range of system problems.

Paul,

The HP website shows all printer drivers up-to-date (the documents are askew onscreen, prior to printing).

Not sure how I would reinstall all fonts; I found no guidelines for that in an online search.

On a hunch I searched the registry and found plenty of files relating to Works and Word97, even though all that was supposedly removed by Revo. I deleted those, being careful to leave alone any files that only partially contain the word "works", like "workspace", etc. Restarted expecting total victory, but no luck. At least I didn't mess anything up with my registry foray. I remain stumped.

Art
