I have been unsuccessfully trying to create a macro which will insert the filename and path as a footer in every Word document (about 8pt size) and place this on the Quick Launch bar. Most instructions I have found online have not been clear, or at least assume a degree of knowledge I don't yet have. I have wrestled with building blocks, global templates, Quick Parts etc and have probably done more harm than good! I am using Word Office & Student Home Edition 2010 and Windows 7.
