If “Remove Restricted Fonts” flags up, since MSW doesn’t help by specifying any problem fonts, then…

1# If there is an EARLIER copy (even a backup), allow MSW to open THAT file.

2# In THAT file use “Font Substitution” (add to Quick Access Toolbar) to discover what had been the problem font or fonts.



3# Reinstall the font or fonts, either from own stock of saved fonts, or from the www (virus check).

4# Then open the file initially flagged. It should open without “Remove Restricted Fonts”.

5# Send feedback to MicroSoft, complaining about Word’s lack of finesse in not specifying any problem fonts.
