my computer came with a product code on the bottom, before doing this i had been using my computer for a while and had already activated office starter because i didnt know it came with a product code. so today i had to use powerpoint but i noticed it wasnt on my computer

so then i saw the product code and i typed it in (this was for microsoft office home and student) but the product code said that it wasnt correct, i tried downloading a trial version that had powerpoint but it asked for a product code but nothing works!!

TL;DR if my computer comes with a product code on the bottom, is that code supposed let you access the full version of microsoft office? and if yes which version?

The product code on your computer is most likely for Windows, not for any other MS product (eg Office, Word. etc).
