Hi Steve, For the most part, that kind of string comparison is not possible with Word fields. I say 'the most part' because it is possible to test whether the field begins or ends with a particular string, or if the string is in a particular location. Also, it's far from clear what your doing, since mailmerges and formfields generally don't work together.
