Default Timesheets to Invoices - Time being imported as days

I've a spreadsheet that links to personnel timesheets and calculates total time worked in a given period, this then shows pay due based on their hourly rate.

I'm now trying to complete a mail merge in Windows so that I can produce basic payslips/invoices for the self employed workers which will show their total hours.

The problem I have is that what will show as 26:00 (26 hours) in Excel is showing as 1.0833343333 in the mail merge field within Word. I can get around the amount of decimal points by adding \# "0.00" to format the field but cannot seem to find how to retain 26:00 as desired.

There is a fair amount of formatting and formulas within the spreadsheet already so I'm trying not to change anything there if possible.

Any tips would be gratefully received!
