Question Where is this Section Break coming from?
Attached is the data source and the main doc. Datasource is sorted:


PERFORMER DEC
ATTENDANCE ASC
last_name ASC

the main doc uses the first rec (MERGESEQ = 1) to set fields for the document header.
then if ATTENDANCE is not blank, list the names and addresses.

But I keep getting a Section Break (Next Page) between each record. Can you please tell me where it is coming from?

It is coming from the 'Letters' merge. That's what a 'Letters' merge does. It creates a new 'letter' for each record. If you want the records to follow without the breaks change the merge document type to 'Directory'.

Arrgh! I bounced back and forth between Directory and Letter I forgot what I was looking at! Thank you very much. I knew I just needed another set of eyes on it.
