I used the mail merge toolkit to send an email and attached a pdf document but instead of the pdf document being attached and sent the .txt mailmerge file was sent instead which contained sensitive data. Does anyone know how this could have happened? I am using Microsoft Word 2007 and Microsoft Office 2007 on a Windows 7 PC. Also just at the time of sending the email I received an infected email which was quarantined but I do not know if this affected what happened. |
