Default Mailmerge help needed - external links

Hi everyone. I'm using the mailmerge feature for the first time as I will need to invite 600 clients to complete an online survey. My company does not allow client contact details to be uploaded to the vendor's system, which would make life much easier.

What I need to include is a unique client name, unique URL for each client (display the link and/or hyperlink to text) and the corresponding sales person's email address in the CC field.

I have tested this quickly and found that i) it does not seem possible to include a CC field, ii) URLs merge and display properly, but are not clickable when received (is this more to do with my email client settings? a lot of people will probably just not bother to copy and paste the link).

Many thanks!
