Footer doesn't print on first page

All,

I have a mail merge setup and all of a sudden the footer on the 1st page doesn't show up on the page. The 2nd and all following pages have the footer appearing correctly. I'm not sure if I need to raise the text in the letter or what needs to happen. Thanks in advance.
