![]()
Hi,
I'm using Word 2013 to mail merge a .docx document on Windows 7 64 bit and getting the error "Object doesn't support this property or method". The error happens when accessing the file through a UNC path to a share on the same computer. If I try to do it with a local path it works fine. The share is setup to give everyone full control so not sure what would be causing it to fail. Any help in determining the cause would be appreciated. Is there anyway to get error information that is more specific in these cases? Thanks, Troy R |

Some more information, I debugged this some more and noticed that the attachedtemplate property is set to the "Normal" template file. For some reason when it is loaded from a network share, this value isn't being retained or it can't find the template file even though it is in the same location. Anyone know why that would be? If I update the value in code to point to the correct template file at that share location, the mail merge works fine but it can't seem to resolve it on its own.
