Problem with currency field code

Hi again,
In my mail merge document I have 3 fields identically formatted (I think) for currency indicating cent values (Code below). However the 1st field does not show the cents. I tried editing with various spaces etc. saved and closed end reopened but no success
Note I copied the code without the brackets (and added them here myself) as this was the only way I could cut and paste the code.

Code:

{ MERGEFIELD "Collection_Total"\#€,0.00 }
{ MERGEFIELD "Total_Dues"\#€,0.00 }
{ MERGEFIELD "Dues__Collection"\#€,0.00 }

Any advice.
