Good guess, but that's not it. See the attached screenshot, which shows the suggested file name and the title. (OK, I eliminated the "Part 2 main" part of the name to simplify my explanation above.) So the suggested file name is not coming from the title.
Any other ideas of where Word pulls the information it uses to suggest a file name for a new document? ![]() |
