I am using Mail Merge in Word 2010 to create a contract in rich text format. I'm using a switch:



{ MERGEFIELD AlphabeticOrdinal \f ) }

When the document gets to letter z) instead it inserts an underscore _).

All other letter designations are inserted correctly in front of each contract term.

Has anyone run into this problem before?

Hi khinnenkamp,

The \f switch you're using says only to insert ')' after the field - if it isn't empty. Your description suggests you have either a corrupt font or '_' in the data.
