I have a 1500 row excel sheet consisting of 150 File#s with several correspondence columns (To, From, Topic,…). Each File# is associated with 1-20 pieces of correspondence. I want to merge to a Word document which shows the File# once, followed by the details of each associated correspondence. How can I create a rule to not show the File# if it equals the previous File#?
Thanks! The result should be along the lines of: File #: 12345 To: Mr Smith From: Mr Jones Date: 1/1/13 Message: blah blah blah To: Mr Jones From: Mr Smith Date: 1/2/13 Message: blah blah blah File #: 56789 To: Mr Red From: Mr Blue Date: 2/1/13 Message: blah blah blah To: Mr Green From: Mr Red Date: 2/2/13 Message: blah blah blah |
