I went to the "select recipient's list" and clicked on the icon with the two arrows and it did it!
The "name" came from the "insert placeholder's" menu. Thank you so much for showing me how to do this! I have Office 2010 for the Mac but haven't installed it yet. I learned a lot from this experience. Bless you, Cathy
