Hi All,
i am sure this issue has been experienced by many people and i am sure that there is a solution to the problem however i cannot find it. I feel like I have tried everything except the correct solution to get my database working properly! The problem is that i am using a VBA module from my Access database to connect to a Word Document which conducts a mail merge. The issue i am having is that it seems to cut off text in fields that are more then 255 characters long. I am not merging from a table, i am merging from a query - but this shouldn't be a problem. I have tried inserting a dummy record with lots of characters in it. I have tried moving the larges field to the first column of the table I have tried using DEE as a connection method to the word document Can someone please help? if need be i will generate a copy of the database and word document so someone can see whats going on. it wont be the version i am working off however as its quite sensitive data Thanks in advance Chris |
