Marking threads as complete
Not sure there is an easy answer to this one
How can we encourge people to mark topic's as complete? There are a large number of posts (expeically in the excel forums) where it appears that answers have been given but users are not marking as complete? I understand that some users will just take thier answer and never come back, but a lot say a solution works but never mark as complete. Just makes the forum messy and incomplete. |

Only OP could mark a thread as solved before, in order to have more solved threads marked as solved, we extended it to all participants.
I have always wanted to migrate this forum to a new platform, with which we can setup the forum more like a Q&A site, this whole process will be more intuitive. But I'm not sure if it's a good idea to make a drastic change. |

I see, i just assumed only the OP could do it.
The message board seems fine to me, i like the way it is laid out and it is very responsive - the double line space does get on my nerves...... Might be worth adding a Powertools section to the Excel part as well? Just an idea Marked as solved...... |
