![]() I have workbook where I have default all year values to 2012. This when I type in 07 Jan, I would like the 07 Jan 2012 and not 07 Jan 2011. How do I do this so I can set default value to a different year? |

Hi prasad,
Excel uses the system clock to determine the default year. You have at least four options: 1. Wait till next year, 2. Change the system year to 2012 now, 3. Install a user-defined function to increment the year (this requires vba coding), 4. Enter the required year instead of relying on the default.
