I have a column of zip codes
Ex: 12345-0000 I want to extract only the six-digit zip code and eliminate the additional 4-digit extension. How can this be done? Your help is greatly appreciated. Thank you, Karen |

I actually just figured this out by applying the answer to another question I asked.
Thank you all! Highlight data Click "Text to Columns" Choose "Other" and enter a dash |
