How to create microsoft Excel 2007 and 2010 File in .xlsx format

Hi,
I am trying to create Excel file with .xlsx file extension using Tomcat Apache POI API in java/J2EE. But can't able to do so.

While i am able to create Excel file with .xls extension.
Can you provide any suggestion or API(Lib) or code snippet that full fill our requirement.
