Default Excel 2007 data question

Hi
I would like to create a simple dynamic table in a spreadsheet somewhat similar to pivot table functionality.

Is it possible to create a table where the data in the table changes dynamically based on a filter for the table? This would be similar to having a drop down filter for a pivot table.

Paul

Hi Paul
If you are using Pivot Tables and you use the Filter Column as your Page field then when you select a different criteria the Pivot Table will recalculate.
Hope this helps.

Default Pivot Table Slicer

Have a look at the attached sheet which contains a small pivot table.

I have used the slicer which is found on the Insert Tab.

You can choose the slicer to filter pages, columns and rows in the pivot table.
