I made an excel week calculator. Below you will find how I labeled my cells in my table complete with example information on the right hand side.

Here in my example my spreadsheet calculates the weekly difference between January 1 '08 and January 22 '08.
Week Calculator *no pun intended

Last Date 1/22/2008
First Date 1/1/2008
Difference in number of weeks between Last Date and First Date
3.00

I suggest you look up the WEEKNUM function. If you are still unable to find an answer please post what you have found so far. Use it to calculate your weekly difference.
