Hi Mark, When you open the workbook, press Ctrl-End and see where you end up. You may find that all the formatting mess has changed the size of the workbook. You could simply copy the 'real' used range to a new workbook, close the old one and save the new one over it, or you could delete all the unused rows and columns that are currently marked as in use.
