hi Mark,
Assuming the carry-forward figure from the previous worksheet is in the last cell in the column concerned, you could use a formula like: =INDEX(Sheet1!A:A,MATCH(1E+306,Sheet1!A:A,1)) where 'Sheet1' is the worksheet name and 'A:A' is the column from which you want to bring forward the value.
