Formula not getting copied to entire column
Hi,
Im working on XP SP3 and using MS Office 2007.Im Sorry for my silly issue but im new to excel . I have a formula in a cell which i want to be copied to the entire column.I have tried clickng on the bottom right of the cell which contains the formula and also tried dragging it all the way till where i want the formula but it doesnt work .It copies the actual value in the cell to the entire column. Not sure what Im doing wrong. Thx in advance for your help!! |

Hi theacegary,
Click once on the cell (you do not want to be in edit mode, which is a doubleclick), right click your mouse, select copy, move to the first cell you want to copy to, left click and hold the button down while you drag the mouse down the column to wherever you intend to end the calculations, release the left mouse button, right click your mouse anywhere in the highlighted column and select paste.
