Default Formula not getting copied to entire column

Hi,

Im working on XP SP3 and using MS Office 2007.Im Sorry for my silly issue but im new to excel .

I have a formula in a cell which i want to be copied to the entire column.I have tried clickng on the bottom right of the cell which contains the formula and also tried dragging it all the way till where i want the formula but it doesnt work .It copies the actual value in the cell to the entire column.

Not sure what Im doing wrong.

Thx in advance for your help!!
