Sorry, guess I didn't explain myself very well.
OK the number in column A1 is the length of timber, and text in column B1 is the type / style of timber. So to make it very easy for our packing staff the send invoices off, if they just needed to put the length of the timber in and the code for type / style, they wouldn't have to work out the cost themselves.
