I discovered that sometimes the Excel Inquire Addin, when activated to review worksheet relationships, opens a dialog box that then appears to hide or minimize, which then "locks up" Excel; the only way to then close it is to use Task Manager to end Excel, so any unsaved changes would be lost.
ONE solution is that the Inquire Addin appears to conflict somehow with Outlook. If Outlook is closed, the Inquire Addin does not minimize or hide the dialog box Window. Remembering to close Outlook before using the Inquire Addin seems clumsy, is there another option to address this problem? |
