I know that this is not a common question. It would be too long to explain why I'm asking this. Are there any type of VLOOKUPs I could create with the data in the attached spreadsheet? If so, what?
Thank you, Karen |

Might I draw your attention to the fact that you posted various times on this forum, and often did not bother to acknowledge answers given or even say if your problem was solved?

And what you want to be returned from this table?
When the price, then which one - as there are several of them for every product, department, and order? With current table design, you can get the average price per product, department, and order. To get the specific price from table, you need additional condition fields, adding of which makes the combination of conditions unique. P.e. a field, which indicates, how many times the current combination of product, department, and order, did appear starting from top row of table. Both those possibilities are presented in attached file |

Thank you for letting me know. I usually make it a point to acknowledge answers or mark the problem "solved." but I had some health issues after that and never got around to it.

Thank you for your help. It doesn't matter what is returned from this table. I just want to see if VLOOKUP can be used with this data set.
Thank you so much for your help. Much appreciated. Best, Karen |

No! It cant (unless you want the value from topmost row matching the search criteria only)!

Thank you! If you time, would you kindly demonstrate that?
Can you also explain why this data is not set up to use VLOOKUP? Thank you, Karen |

Are you really using XL2021 or rather 365? The latter has many lookup functions that will spill

Hello,
I'm using 365. I actually have a different spreadsheet that I would greatly appreciate having help with. Please see attached file: XLOOKUP How can XLOOKUP be used in B2:B5 and C2:C5 to lookup which vendor & department in the Data tab are associated with the order number? The green shaded cells in the XLOOKUP Data tab are what I want returned using XLOOKUP. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Karen |
