What formula to use to move within a single column
For example, column A has 180 rows with values in ascending order. Let's assume row a6. How do I move forward 82 rows starting from A6? Thanks in advance |

To set up a quick way of moving 82 cells down from where you are, on any sheet, create a named range as follows:
Select cell A6 on a sheet. Go into Name Manager: 2024-09-04_124500.jpg and click New… then in the next dialogue box you'll see something like this: 2024-09-04_124612.jpg Add a short name in the Name: field (I used go) and edit the Refers to: field to be exactly like this: =!A88 like this: 2024-09-04_124710.jpg click OK, then Close out of Name Manager. Back on the sheet you can jump 82 cells down by either typing go into the Name box and pressing Enter: 2024-09-04_124807.jpg or by pressing F5 on the keyboard and entering go, then click OK (or press Enter): 2024-09-04_124903.jpg This will jump 82 cells down from wherever you are, whichever sheet you're on. |
