I don't know about online courses as users' interests can be very diverse. e.g. I know nothing of VBA or financial functions, but have some experience with other functions and PQ.
I always encourage new learners to participate in XL forums (answering threads and learning from other users); there are very good ones out there where there is lots of activity. The present one has more MsWord activity than XL AFAIK.
