I'm just wondering whether this happened because of a Microsoft update. I keep pinned workbooks, some long-term and some shorter-term, in both Excel and Word (documents in that case).

Came in Monday and they had all been cleared out. I don't recall seeing that any updates were apparent when I logged back in.

It's not the end of the world, just a minor pain having to re-establish them, and I'm still remembering ones I had there for convenience.

Wanted to make sure I didn't tick something somewhere that would have caused that to happen. I could see doing that accidentally in one of the programs but not both.
