Hi all
I have a spreadsheet with text in multiple cells in Column B, sorted alphabetically. Earlier in the spreadsheet the same information is listed in Column B, however it is sorted by Category, with the Category name in either Column A, D or G. What I would like to do is have the alphabetically sorted text search for it's exact match in the category sorted text earlier in the spreadsheet, and return the text that is in Column A, D or G, into the relevant cell to the left of the text (which will also be in column A, D or G, but in the alphabetically sorted section). Is that doable, and if so, what would the formula look like? Thanks so much for your assistance ![]() Sue |
