Hey everyone,
I'm currently doing a study which compares coral reef cover with changes in temperature across the Great Barrier Reef. I have two big datasets which I'm trying to match together by longitude, latitude and date. I'm trying to match each hard coral cover data point with the temperature value that has the closest sample date, longitude and latitude and then show this temperature value in the 'Closest Temperature Value' column. Can someone help me with this? If this is possible, is it also possible to show the distance and time difference between the temperature value shown in the 'Closest Temperature Value Column' and the hard coral cover value in a separate column? I tried to use the formula shown in this thread, just to match data by longitude and latitude, but even that didn't seem to work and just gave me #N/A for all the results. I've attached my spreadsheet to this post. Thank you! ![]() |
