Hi I am looking to create a label and I have been doing I merged couple of cells say I2-N2 How can I measure the length of the merged cell (horizontally and vertically ) to see if a label fit in a plastic pouch before printing it ? Please see attached snapshot Imgur: The magic of the Internet Thx

My initital reaction would be to never, ever use merged cells
can you upload a workbook example? |

Draw a rectangle that will exactly cover the label area. On the "Format Shape" tab, you can see the dimensions of this rectangle.

Table will not allow sorting because "cells are merged". I can't find the merged cells.
