If you depend so much on recent files, in the future, maybe it is useful for you to use windows side bar, with this gadget from microsoft: http://gallery.live.com/liveItemDeta...b-c9c37d0adaf2. It is a beter way to organize your recent files, but Applies to office 2007, maybe you can find it for office 2010.
