Sorry for the late reply
 I looked in my Excel 2000 menus but didn't find anything labeled "Settings". I found a Settings box in some of the Options tabs, but nothing about making backups. I'll have to figger some way to automatically create a backup for my Excel files. And Thank You for your replies!
