Hi all,
OS~Windows 7 Software ~ Windows 2010 Office Suite I'm new to this forum and have run into a problem with Excel and I sorely need your help. When I try to format a cell for currency or accounting, the following occurs; 1) it won't allow me to use a comma to separate values, 2) the drop down box under numbers changes to custom and gives me values with additional decimal separators. Example: Currency $1,200.32 looks like this after formatting $1200.320.00 Accounting $ 1, 200.32 looks like this after formatting $ 12.200.32. Is there a flaw in the Excel program? I have years of work that are effected. Any help would be appreciated. Regards, Sparetyme Last edited by Sparetyme; 07-09-2010 at 10:56 AM. Reason: I dropped some numerical values in my Accounting Example. |
