I reattached the file
If it still does not work enter =MAX((SUM($E$5:E5)-40),0) in M5 and pull down Also change M12 to =M11

that did work, however is there a formula that i could use in k5 to k11 and L5 to L11 to show total of regular hours + drive hours up to 40. to show the values that i manually entered into those columns?
