Default Date conversions

Here is issue, I have export data into excel but date converts to date format, any ideas how to get it back to text?

Data .CSV Convert

08-32 -------> Aug-32 -------> 08-32
08-34 -------> Aug-34 -------> 08-34
08-35 -------> Aug-35 -------> 08-35
12-35 -------> Dec-35 -------> 12-35

Format the cells as Number > Custom > mm-yy

or, to ensure it stays in your format, in another column enter formula =TEXT(A1,"mm-yy")

Then you can copy and paste special > Values over original and then delete formulas.
