I am building a production schedule making use of Green, Yellow, Red (Fill) to show status relative to the date in the cell. If the date in the cell =<today() then Red fill (indicating past-due) however, once the work is complete I would like to change that cell fill to Green manually however, the formatting rule will not permit a manual fill change to the cell. Your guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Couldn't you add a column called " completed" and enter "x" or something when done.
If you take this into account in your CF it will change to green automatically
