Using the correct payroll tax multiplier for social security and medicare in a spreadsheet I get a total value of xx.3255. The spreadsheet rounds the value up to xx.33. According to separate accounting software, the correct value is xx.32.
2 questions: 1. Does the government not round up values at or greater than 5? 2. Is there a way to tell the particular spreadsheet to not round up at .5 but to do so at .6 for example? |
