![]() I can't get rid of a highlighted cell (empty) left after deleting an extensive block of data. So, when I key in Ctrl-end it takes me way beyond the remaining data. |

You probably have some garbage data somewhere, maybe just a single space, that you can't see. Go to the row immediately after your existing data. Select it and all the other rows (either to the problem cell or to the end of the sheet) and delete.
