I am trying to work out a family budget so I have this complex file going (actually a google sheet) but need help with IF statements.
![]() Basically I have a sheet that is a checking register for the month on another sheet in the same document I want to get a total for all items in the register categorized as grocery with out having to go through and do a sum function and pick each cell how would I do this. perhaps a Google sheet forum might help better than an XL forum?
