Default How to save a .CSV file

I never use Excel, but as of late, I have been receiving "AMAZON PURCHASE ORDER HISTORY's" from the Amazon website. These downloaded files are .csv file format and open fine in Microsoft Excel.

The problem is, there are about 22 columns, so, I hide about 13 of them (that leaves 10 columns), which makes the file much easier to read, and get the actual information I need. All this goes well, but when I try to save this .csv file, I get a message saying: "some features in your workbook might be lost if you save in CSV format".

I tried both ways of saving the file: "No, I do not wish to save as a .csv file, and Yes, I do want to save as .csv file", but neither work. Both options, when chosen, open two other dialogue boxes asking if I want to save changes to the file. All this seems redundant, and of course, somehow the file is ruined; it opens in its original form with all 22 columns present.

If you want to preserve your layout, you'll need to save the file as an Excel workbook, using Save As.

Thanks, don't know anything about Excel, but it seems to be the best way to view my Amazon Purchase History files.

Of course, if you're not interested in the columns you're hiding, you could just delete them instead of hiding them.
