converting daily data to annual
I want to convert daily data to yearly data. My data is from 01/01/1989 to 31/12/2006.
The attached excel file contain 3 variables one is date announce that I want to be converted from daily to yearly and its format could be 1989, 1990 and so on after conversion. % of Cash is variable that I suppose to add up. while Acquiror cusip is a company name that would remain same for the same company.
