Question How to remove first 12 characters of each cell

Excel 2010.

Cell contents:

A1 - 24/03/2017 15:56 PM
A2 - 24/03/2017 15:55 PM
A3 - 24/03/2017 15:55 PM
A4 - 24/03/2017 15:54 PM
A5 - 24/03/2017 15:43 PM
A6 - 24/03/2017 13:31 PM

etc. down to A250

I need to remove the first 12 characters and final 3 characters of each cell.

Is this easily possible?

Are these cells formatted as text or are they time values with a time format? If you attach your workbook, I can tell easily.

In the first case, you can extract the portion you want to another cell using a mid function:
=mid(a1,12,5)

The second case is much easier. All you need to do is reformat the data.
