I seem to remember somewhere seeing what I'm trying to accomplish.
I have a sheet with headings. There are also intermediate lines that I'd like to 'hold' on the line just below the headings while scrolling. As the data below this intermediate line scrolls up and off the page, I'd like the next intermediate to replace the one that was displayed. This is to continue until all lines have been scrolled. Freeze Panes
In Excel 2007 it is located in the VIEW menu tab up top. |

Logit, thank you for the reply.
But...it doesn't solve the problem as shown in the attachment. The use of the VIEW | FREEZE PANES | FREEZE PANES or FREEZE TOP ROW or FREEZE FIRST COLUMN will only freeze those 'individual' items. Freeze Panes - based on current cell selection will 'freeze' rows above and columns to the left of that cell. Freeze Top Row - regardless of the cell selected, freezes the first row of the worksheet. Freeze First Column - again ... regardless of cell selected, freezes the leftmost column of the worksheet. What I need is a combination of things ... - Freeze the top row. - As intermediate heading/separation lines scroll up, freeze them just below the heading row. - Other intermediate heading/separation lines will replace the one just below the heading row as they scroll to the top. Please see the attachment in the initial post for an example. Thanks again!!! ![]() |
